Caitu is an application developed and operated by Yilian Yike (Shenzhen) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our").

This application respects and protects your privacy. To provide you with more accurate and personalized services, we may collect and use your information when you use our application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share such information when you use our services. We will handle this information with a high degree of diligence and care, and will use and disclose your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 1. Information We Collect

We collect information only to the minimum extent necessary to provide the core services of Caitu and related after-sales services. The specific categories are as follows:

(1) Device Usage Information

The YICOE ear-pick device name and manufacturer data obtained through Bluetooth (BLE) broadcast, used to identify the device and parse its hotspot SSID.
The name (SSID) of the Wi-Fi network currently connected to your mobile phone, used only to determine whether you have connected to the device hotspot.

The above information is processed locally within the App only and will not be uploaded to our servers.

(2) Feedback and After-Sales Information

The problem description, contact information, and images you choose to upload when you submit Feedback.
The device model, fault description, recipient information, and other information you submit through Warranty and Repair.
The conversation content you enter in Smart Customer Service.

The above information will be uploaded to our servers through an HTTPS encrypted channel for after-sales processing and service quality improvement.

(3) Local Media Information

Photos and videos generated when you use the in-app photo and video recording functions, as well as screenshots saved from the real-time device view.

These files are stored only in your phone's local storage and system album. We will not actively upload or access them.

(4) Log Information

Technical information generated during App operation, such as crash logs, error logs, device model, and operating system version, used to locate problems and improve stability.

2. Device Permissions We Request and Their Purposes

We promise that only after you have expressly agreed to this Privacy Policy will we request the following necessary permissions from the system based on the functions you use. You may revoke granted permissions at any time in system settings.

Permission request timing: Bluetooth, location, and Wi-Fi permissions are requested when you enter the Device tab; camera and album/media storage permissions are requested when you use shooting, saving, or feedback functions.

3. Use of Information

(1) We use the collected information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, namely to provide device connection, video preview, local shooting and saving, and after-sales services such as feedback, repair, and customer service.

(2) We will not provide, sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information to any unrelated third party unless we have obtained your prior permission, or unless such third party provides services to you separately or jointly with this application (including affiliates of this application), and after the service ends, such third party will be prohibited from accessing all such materials, including those it previously had access to.

(3) We will not allow any third party to collect, edit, sell, or disseminate your personal information free of charge by any means. If any user engages in the above activities, once discovered, we have the right to immediately terminate the service agreement with that user.

(4) We have not embedded any third-party advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or push SDK in this application, and we will not create user profiles or conduct targeted push notifications based on your personal information.

4. Information Disclosure

Under the following circumstances, we may disclose all or part of your personal information according to your personal wishes or legal requirements:

(1) Disclosure to a third party with your prior consent;
(2) Sharing your personal information with a third party where necessary to provide the products and services you request;
(3) Disclosure to a third party or to administrative or judicial authorities in accordance with relevant laws or the requirements of administrative or judicial authorities;
(4) Disclosure to a third party where you violate applicable local laws, regulations, this application's service agreement, or relevant rules;
(5) If you are a qualified intellectual property complainant and have filed a complaint, disclosure to the respondent at the respondent's request so that both parties may handle possible rights disputes;
(6) Other disclosures that we consider appropriate in accordance with laws, regulations, or website policies.

5. Information Storage and Exchange

(1) Local media files such as device screenshots and videos are stored only in your phone's local storage and system album. We will not actively upload or back them up. You may view and delete these files at any time in the system album or on the Album page within the App.

(2) Information that you actively submit through feedback, repair, and customer service functions, including text content and images you choose to upload, will be transmitted to the server (boapi.yicoe.com) through an HTTPS encrypted channel and will be stored and processed by Yilian Yike (Shenzhen) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.

(3) We have adopted commonly used industry security technologies, such as transport-layer encryption, access control, firewalls, and permission minimization, to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or leakage.

6. Data Retention Period

We retain your personal information only for the period necessary to provide services to you and as permitted by laws and regulations. The specific retention periods are as follows:

Smart Customer Service conversation records	Retained for 12 months from the date of the last session, and automatically deleted by the system after expiration.
Device screenshots and videos	Stored only in your phone's local storage and managed and deleted by you. We will not retain any copies on the server side.
Server access logs and error logs	Retained for 90 days from the date the record is generated, and automatically overwritten and deleted after expiration.

If laws and regulations impose mandatory retention periods for relevant information, we will extend the retention period in accordance with the law. After the retention period expires, we will delete or anonymize the corresponding personal information.

You may apply to delete your personal information at any time through the contact email address provided at the end of this Policy.

7. Information Security

We use various security technologies and procedures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or leakage. We provide you with multiple ways to ensure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted to us at any time through the corresponding entry within the App or through the contact email address provided at the end of this Policy.

As our services continue to evolve, the contents of this Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Once the updated Privacy Policy is published in this application, it will effectively replace the original Privacy Policy.
